FAQs
"I understand why estate planning is so important! I want to set up an estate plan.”
You can check out the pricing and what I offer on my website. You can also set up an appointment online here. During our meeting, I can answer all of your questions.
"I want a trust review.”
I could do a trust review and summary with a retainer. I work against that deposit, and will return any funds not used. If that is something you are interested in, let’s meet!
When you set up your consultation, please let me know what changes you think may need to be made. I will also review for any legal changes that need to be made. For example, trusts in the 1990s were frequently set up as A-B Trusts, which may no longer be necessary with changes in the law.
"I want my current estate plan reviewed and updated."
If I personally drafted the estate plan, then I'm happy to update as needed in most cases. If another attorney drafted it, or it's a product of Legal Zoom or the like, then, I will need to draft up an entirely new estate plan. Please review my estate plan page here, for more information.

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. This is an exceedingly difficult time.
There are some immediate things to do. You can check out my free webinar “When Your Parent Or Spouse Passes Away: 10 First Steps For Successor Trustees And Executors” on these immediate steps. You can catch that short webinar here.
"Why do you charge for some consultations?"
When you call me for a trust or probate administration matter, you are calling for legal advice and are requesting to hire me during the call.
